Why Fall Is The Bets Time To Get In Shape


If you have been wishing to change your body for a while and get the physique and physical condition which we all know that we should have, I want to tell you just why fall is the best season in which you should do it. This time last year I kick started myself with some liposuction at the Sono Bello clinic and then proceeded to lose over 40 pounds in the following months. I have always had a problem when it comes to healthy living and I tried for many years to get in shape for summer, something I failed at. In the past I looked at the winter and fall months as the worst time to start a health kick, but I couldn’t have been more wrong, and here’s why.

Empty Gyms

I don’t like going to the gym at the best of times, let alone when it is chock full and there are lots of eyes watching what you do. One thing that I found when going to the gym in the fall months, is that there are hardly any people in the gym at all. The reason for this is because January and the months approaching summer are when most people look to get themselves in shape but in fall, nobody is as bothered, with the exception of the really committed.

Preparation for Christmas

I used to be of the opinion that ‘I’m going to put weight on at Christmas, so what is the point of losing weight now’. This opinion was of course wrong and I much prefer to prepare for Christmas by getting my weight down to a low and manageable level, before adding on a few pounds over the holiday season. In fact, Christmas is a great motivator for you as the more work that you put in now, the more that you can reward yourself when the holidays season comes.


I always try to eat seasonal fruits and vegetables and in fall we get loads of great local produce such as cabbages, marrows, sprouts and plenty of other hearty root vegetables. I love to eat food which warms my insides during this time of year and many of the hearty comfort foods which you will find in fall, are actually very healthy. There is of course always temptation to eat bad foods when it is cold and you don’t want to go out, but there is also a great number of healthy options for you.

Change is in the Air

It is important to remember that we are all animals and we adapt to the different seasons. Fall is the season go change, the trees change color, the temperature changes and it is the perfect season for you too to make a change. Believe it or not, our moods are closely linked to the seasons and if you can embrace change, this is the perfect time of year to do so.
