A lot of people criticize what Trump tweets since he often just jumps to conclusions without knowing the full story, which causes people to get angry at his tweets. The former vice president and democratic nomine Al Gore stated that it isn’t the time to be divisive and to criticize a mayor who’s trying to organize his city’s response to this attack in London after Trump had responded negatively on Twitter to what the mayor had said.
Trump promoted a proposed travel ban on visitors from six mostly Muslim countries and refugees from around the world that has been blocked by U.S. courts after these terror attacks happened. The U.S. is restricting any visitors from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, which is necessary according to him to protect the U.S. and their national security. Trump states that we need this travel ban as an extra level of safety in order to be smart about these attacks and hopefully not have another occur. Trump has over 90 days to review the procedures for admitting people from certain countries.
